Today, Microsoft announced that they are joining Qulcomm backed AllSeen Alliance to support the AllJoyn IoT platform. AllSeen’s mission is to to enable widespread adoption and help accelerate the development and evolution of an interoperable peer connectivity and communications framework based on AllJoyn for devices and applications in the Internet of Everything. Microsoft is joining 50 other members in the AllSeen Alliance, including major consumer electronics players Panasonic, LG Electronics and Sharp, etc,.
