Microsoft’s Bing team are working on a new travel app for iOS and Android designed to entice users to visit the places they always dreamed about, and once there make their experience as smooth as possible.

The app called Outings will feature high quality travel stories about beautiful places from premium travel blogs on a wide variety of destination categories, such as outdoor adventures, historical sites, city life, kid-friendly activities, beautiful vistas, or the hidden gems.

The app will offer personalized recommendations and help users save their finds on a bucket list which can be shared with others.

Microsoft is inviting companies who specialize in travel to contribute to the content of the app, with the app currently featuring content from RoadTrippers.com, The Outdoor Project and The Outbound.

It is notable that the app is similar to the MSN Travel app which was discontinued in 2015.

See screenshots of the app below.

The app , which is still unannounced, can be downloaded for iOS and Android at the links provided.
