While we are still waiting for a Microsoft Store in London, it appears Microsoft is already planning another flagship store in Soho, New York soon. The company has been eyeing on a building in 300 Lafayette Street and has already leased it according to the recent reports.

The outlet still isn’t final and the company is in the early stages of negotiations. The 80,000-square-foot building is constructed by Related Companies who then sold it to Nightingale Properties last year. Microsoft is reportedly looking for both retail and office space in Soho. The building is designed by COOKFOX Architects and Studio and is divided into two parts which include 50,000-square-feet of office space and 30,000-square-feet of retail space.

The deal is still in the early stages but if Microsoft gets the lease then it would be a huge boost for the company in terms of owning brick and motor stores and selling products directly to the consumers.
