MIX is a developer conference, so it is just appropriate that Microsoft celebrated the developers who have made Windows Phone 7 competitive by pouring thousands of apps into Marketplace.
At MIX 11 Microsoft created a Wall of Apps featuring the icons of the tends of thousands of apps in Marketplace. The display was captured by Long Zheng, who has high resolution pictures on his website here.
Tomorrow’s MIX 11 keynote will be dedicated to Windows Phone 7 and Silverlight, and we expect developers to soon receive a lot more cool tools and API’s to create the next wave of great phone apps.
