It has been almost three years since Microsoft launched the last Lumia branded Windows Phone. While the Redmond giant has completely cut off ties with mobile hardware, we saw third-party OEMs like HP launch Windows Phone.

The last two Windows Phones were sold yesterday officially ending the decent run Microsoft had with Windows Phone. The company is said to be focused on Surface Phone which might come by the end of the year or next year, or possibly never.

For now, if you’re still in the market for Windows Phone (for no good reason whatsoever), Microsoft recommends to check out Amazon or Staples. Apart from this, you can always check out local dealers for the leftover devices or buy a used device. Or you can always make a switch to Android and buy Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+, Note 8, S8/S8+ and Razer Phone from the Microsoft Store.

Everyone saw this coming so it was just a matter of when it was going to happen. We still don’t know what Microsoft has planned for the future but for now, we all can just be hopeful about a future Microsoft game changer.
