Microsoft is pushing out a new update for OneNote for Windows 10 app for Insiders.
The update brings the ability to edit files embedded in OneNote and save the changes directly back to the OneNote document, meaning users will not need to re-attach the file.

This very useful feature, which is currently going out to Office Insiders, should allow users to collect relevant files for a project for example in a single OneNote file and work on them as it is a real file system, making it a great productivity feature.
The news was announced by Mike Tholfsen, Product Manager on the Microsoft EDU team.
Office Insiders can download the update from Microsoft Store using the below link.
