Microsoft has posted another of its 3 part digital video show in India starring some of India’s biggest stars, this time famed journalist Anupama Chopra walking the streets of Toronto with Karan Johar before his speech at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Aimed at promoting their Surface products, the show interviews some of the most popular celebrities of the Indian film industry, in in-depth interviews looking at a day in the life of the masters of the craft that go “Beneath the Surface.”
In this week’s video fans stop to take selfies with the popular director, who believes that despite all the adulation, very few take him seriously as a filmmaker. He also discusses his unique writing process- “I talk to myself when I’m walking streets. I could come across as a lunatic. I record it on a voice note and have someone transcribe it for me.”
