Update: Microsoft UK is also offering the Display Dock for free with a Lumia 950 XL.

The Lumia 950 XL comes with a very useful feature: Continuum. With Continuum, users will be able to use their phone as a pocket PC by connecting it with a monitor and other peripherals such as a keyboard and a mouse. To use Continuum, Lumia 950 XL owners will have to purchase the Display Dock which will be available for $99 (109 Euro). If you live in Germany, however, you will be glad to know that Microsoft is offering a free Display Dock with the Lumia 950 XL until January 31, 2016.

Find the pre-installed Lumia Offers app on the home screen of your brand new Lumia 950 XL. To get a free Microsoft Display Dock, just open the Lumia Offers app and follow the instructions. You can order a Display Dock online with the promotional code that you’ll receive by email.

Unfortunately enough, the Display Dock won’t ship with your Lumia 950 XL — to get the Display Dock, you will have to install the Lumia Offers app on your phone which will provide you a redeem code for the Display Dock.
