The news that it would be at least 6 months before Windows 10 Mobile arrives on new handsets has the potential of putting a crimp on the current Windows Phone market, with everyone waiting for the new generation of devices to arrive.
Scandinavian Microsoft General Manager Ossi Korpela is trying to countering this by announcing in the above video that the Lumia 640 would be amongst the first to receive the upgrade.
The device has hopefully been designed with the required of Windows 10 Mobile in mind, though Microsoft makes no promise regarding features such as USB OTG, and will hopefully receive their update in 2015 rather than 2016.
Has the above convinced any of our readers to jump in now, or are you still waiting till later this year?
