Microsoft Eliminates ITIN Requirement For Developers And To Deliver Final Windows Phone 7.1 SDK Tomorrow

Along with the consumer information on the release of Windows Phone 7.5 aka Mango, Microsoft made some great news for Windows Phone developers too. First thing was the announcement of availability of Microsoft Advertising solution for Windows Phone in 11 more countries. Apart from the 38 countries where Microsoft is accepting applications from developers, developers several other countries can make use of the following 3rd party app submission programs.

• Asia Pacific: App Port;
• China: Device7 & MTel;
• Central and Eastern Europe: APPA Market;
• Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS): Softkey;
• Middle East, Africa, and Latin America: Yalla Apps

Microsoft also announced that they will be delivering the RTW of Windows Phone developer tools or SDK. The last but important thing, developers now need not submit tax information such as ITIN.
