Back in April, Microsoft removed the Edge Insider Extension from the Microsoft Store as the company made the switch to Chromium to re-work on the Edge browser. Microsoft has since then been working on a new Edge Insider Extension for the Chromium-based Edge and it now looks like the company is very close to release it.

Microsoft Edge Insider Extension went live for a moment but is no longer available for download. It seems Microsoft accidentally made the extension public only to pull it within a few minutes, but for those who were able to download and install the extension in that short time can use the Edge Insider extension. Unfortunately, we don’t know as to when the extension will be available for download again. Nevertheless, the leak could mean that Microsoft is going to bring it to the public very soon.

For those unaware, The Microsoft Edge Insider extension was developed for all those who want to stay up to date about the Edge development. The extension brought the latest Microsoft Edge Announcements, Features, Known Issues, Fixed issues to your fingertips.
