In April, as part of the move to the Chromium engine,  Microsoft removed the Microsoft Edge Insider extension from the Microsoft store.

The Microsoft Edge Insider extension was developed for all those who want to stay up to date about the Edge development. The extension brought the latest Microsoft Edge Announcements, Features, Known Issues, Fixed issues to your fingertips. Once installed you’ll get to know about all those details mention above in the Microsoft Edge browser.

It seems, however, a new, updated version of the extension is coming soon, according to ALumia.

Microsoft recently reported that the new Edge (Chromium) browser has seen 1 million downloads by testers, who will hopefully appreciate this more direct communication from Microsoft. We will update the story when the link becomes available.
