Microsoft is working on bringing the Chromium-based Edge browser which will require them to build the browser from the scratch. While the company is yet to release the first build or even more details on the topic, the company has built a website to list down the extensions available for Edge.

The website was first spotted by WalkingCat (via Techdows) and lists the add-ons and extensions that are available for Microsoft Edge. The website is similar to the Chrome Store or Opera extension website. Microsoft has also listed out the extensions for Chromium-based Edge in the following categories:

  • Adblockers and password managers
  • Education
  • Social and entertainment
  • Shopping
  • Productivity
  • For Developers

The website has been made for Chromium-based Edge browser and hence it won’t work with the current version of Microsoft Edge. However, the existence of the website does confirm that Microsoft is actively working on Microsoft Edge and we should see the first build of Edge soon.
