Microsoft today released a new preview update build for its Edge for iOS users. This new update version 42.6.1 comes with four new features and performance improvements. Read about them below.

First, you can now open the Edge browser directly from the lock screen with Siri shortcuts. Second, when you reopen Edge, you can now choose to continue where you left off or start afresh with a new tab. Third, you can use the browser widget on the Today screen to get to quick actions and top sites. Finally, you can now press and hold buttons in the bottom bar to see quick actions.

To test this new version, go to TestFlight app on your iOS device and update the Edge app.
