One of the main challenges of hybrid work is how to keep your work and personal browsing separate and private. You don’t want your personal browsing history and passwords to be synced to your organization, and your IT department doesn’t want to compromise your organization’s security posture. That’s why many organizations end up using multiple browsers for different purposes, which can increase the risk of cyberattacks and create a frustrating user experience.
Microsoft Edge for Business solves this problem by automatically splitting your work and personal browsing into separate browser windows with their own caches and storage locations. This way, your information stays separate and secure. When you visit a work-related site, such as Microsoft 365 apps and services or sites that require work login, it will open in the work browser window. When you visit a popular site that is not related to work, it will open in the personal browser window. You can also customize which sites you want to open in which window in the settings. With Microsoft Edge for Business, you can easily switch between the work and personal browser windows without losing your context or productivity.
