NL1020order

We wrote two weeks ago about some people who ordered the Nokia Lumia 1020 were finding their handset on back-order from the Microsoft store.

Those buyers will soon however be much less upset, as Microsoft is sending out an email with an offer of a $150 gift card which can be spent on items at the Store.

Our tipster also reports that his handset, ordered on the 18th July, should be shipped on the 1st of August, which is a relief considering he was told earlier there was no way of knowing when it would arrive.

Have any of our other readers benefited from this largesse? Let us know below.

Thanks vimpy for the tip and screen shot.
