iphone prizes

Microsoft has less than 1% smartphone market share in China, and some Chinese Windows Phone fans feel it’s due to poor promotion by Microsoft China.

The company officials did not help their case any by giving away a number of iPhone 5 and 6 handsets as prizes in a contest the Microsoft Academy was running.

The move has generated outrage from the Windows Phone community there, though the Chinese Cortana has diffused it somewhat by saying it did this as it wanted the winners to suffer.

Many do however feel that Microsoft has not shown any confidence in their products, and this does not seem to be much of a stretch.
