Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Last month we reported that Microsoft and 343 Studios are finally working on bringing Halo: Master Chief Collection on PC. Following this, Microsoft opened registrations for the Halo Insider Program to let users test the game before it’s released.

You can sign up to be a Halo Insider here. You must be over 18 to register and you need a valid Steam ID. You should also be aware that you might not be picked for every single test opportunity.

Microsoft has also shared the first image of Halo: Reach which is supposed to come along with Master Chief Collection. Microsoft is also working on releasing Halo: Reach on Xbox One.

Microsoft will be seeding the first build out to Halo Insiders soon and you can join the program if you’re interested in testing out Halo before it’s released to the public.

In a recent newsletter sent out to Halo Insiders, Microsoft confirmed that the company was blown away by the number of people who registered for the beta.

Microsoft also mentioned that they will look into the DxDiag files that users uploaded and seed the builds to eligible users accordingly. They will also take note of the people who are actively participating in the development and will prioritize them for future builds.

There is no ETA at the moment as to when we can expect the final release from the company but Halo Insiders can expect the first build soon.
