It seems everything is coming up roses for Satya Nadella’s Microsoft. After topping Apple to become the most valuable company in the world, the company has come on top of another rating of 890 companies for the most Just company in the USA.
Rated by Forbes based on criteria selected by a survey of 81,000 people, the companies are weighed in terms of items such as worker compensation, treatment of customers and their data, product quality, environmental impact, community outreach, ethical and diverse leadership, and creation of job opportunities.
Forbes found Microsoft the best company in USA based on this rating, with Intel next, followed by Google’s Alphabet, Texas Instruments, IBM, NVIDIA, VMware, Procter & Gamble, Adobe systems and Cisco Systems.
In terms of sub-ranks, Microsoft ranked number 1 for the care of the environment, number 2 for worker treatment, 5 for customers, 5 for leadership, 22 for communities and 100 for job creation.
Apple only hit 16th position, while Amazon made the 30th spot and Facebook number 35.
