To meet the demands of businesses that requires a virtualized desktop experience, Microsoft is today announcing the new Windows Virtual Desktop service at Ignite 2018 conference. The new Windows Virtual Desktop based on Azure is the only cloud-based service that delivers a multi-user Windows 10 experience.

The new Windows Virtual Desktop provides the best virtualized Windows and Office experience.

Microsoft mentioned that Windows Virtual Desktop includes free Windows 7 Extended Security Updates. This new service is expected to be available in preview by end of 2018.
