Microsoft today announced the release of Office 2019 Commercial Preview of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, Project, Visio and OneNote for Windows 10. Microsoft is also planning to release previews of Office 2019 for Mac, Exchange 2019, SharePoint 2019, Project Server 2019, and Skype for Business 2019 in the coming months. Microsoft recommends Office 365 ProPlus for enterprise customers. But for customers who aren’t yet ready for cloud solutions, Office 2019 is the answer.

Office 2019 will bring all the new features that have been released to Office 365 customers over the past few years. It will come with new and improved inking features like the roaming pencil case, pressure sensitivity, and tilt effects; more powerful data analysis in Excel, like new formulas, new charts, and Power BI integration; Morph and Zoom feature in PowerPoint and more.

Microsoft also mentioned that there will be no MSI releases for any Office client apps from 2019 onwards. All new Office client apps, including Visio and Project, will be distributed as Click-to-Run exclusively. You can join Office 2019 Commercial preview here.
