Microsoft recently announced an early preview of the Database Model Diagram (also known as Database Reverse Engineering) as an add-in for Visio for Windows. If you are an Office Insider, you can try this out now.

The Database Model Diagram will allow users to design a new database model from an existing one, and helps them understand the structure of existing databases, too. Database models graphically capture and display key database elements – such as tables and views that are related to each other – making it easy to create, consume and share new and existing databases.

You’ll need a Visio Pro for Office 365 subscription to try out the feature preview. Learn more and try Visio Pro for Office 365 from here.
