Microsoft has just held its earnings call for their fiscal year 2015 Q3 (3 months ending March 2015), and as always, we take a look at how the Lumia sales are doing with Microsoft’s low-end strategy.

It’s not all good news. While Lumia sales have increased 18% from this time last year, sales have dropped from over 10 million last quarter to 8.6 million sales this quarter with revenue of $1.4 billion.

As the image above shows, both in numbers and revenue wise, there was a massive decline experienced here from last three-quarters. On the other hand, as also noted in the slide, its normal for a drop is sales coming off the holiday season.

While the firm may have expected its low-end devices to buoy it all the way to summer, the lack of buzz and visibility around the Lumia line may have finally made an impact.
