Microsoft has finally introduced the AI Agent feature in Windows 11. The new feature is accessible only on Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs running the latest Dev Channel build 26200.5600. The AI Agent is available directly from the Settings app, allowing users to enable it without needing to configure additional tools.

This was first highlighted by an X (formerly Twitter) user – @phantomofearth, who confirmed that it can be activated on ARM-based devices. Enabling the AI Agent feature also relocates the search box to the top of the app on non-Copilot+ PCs. Such moves by Microsoft hint at its commitment to bringing AI capabilities across Windows.

By integrating the AI Agent into the Settings, Microsoft aims to streamline user interaction and provide a more intuitive experience. The feature’s compatibility with the Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs suggests a broader rollout of AI functionalities in future Windows updates.

While the feature is still in its early stages, its availability on the Dev Channel suggests that Microsoft is actively testing and refining it. Users interested in exploring the AI Agent can do so by navigating to the Settings on their compatible devices.
