Microsoft today announced that they are adding new Q&A capabilities to their Power BI iOS app. Before this update, users were only able to view and interact with their pre-defined reports and dashboards. But with this new feature, users can ask questions of their data and receive answers in the form of charts and graphs directly on their iOS device. It also supports natural language queries. Another neat feature is that it supports voice input, users can use their mic in the native iOS keyboard to dictate their question and get an answer immediately.

With Q&A, we aim to serve the unexpected scenarios. Imagine being in a monthly performance review meeting and wanting to answer questions about last year, while your dashboards show only the current year. With Mobile Q&A you can literally have a conversation with your data. Type any question in the chat, or use iOS native speech recognition to dictate your question to your phone.

Download it here from App Store.
