Using the power of Microsoft Graph, Microsoft is today announcing new intelligent search capabilities and experiences for enterprise customers. In addition to bringing this improved search experiences to Office 365 apps and services, Microsoft is bringing it to Windows 10 taskbar search box as well. Users can search for apps, documents, email messages, company resources, or people across local devices and Office 365.

Enterprise users can now find their colleagues straight from Windows. For example, they can search by just first name to quickly find the people they work with most and connect with them instantly. Another example is that an user can search for documents that are stored in OneDrive or a group in SharePoint along side the documents that are stored locally. Microsoft will also support natural language queries for email search. For example, an user can search for emails form specific user with attachments with this search query, “emails from Satya with attachment”.

This new experience will be available to enterprise customers in the coming months.
