Microsoft yesterday released the preview of the January 2018 feature update for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iPad and iPhone. This Version 2.9 (17123100) update comes with several new features such as drag and drop support on iOS 11 devices, new mobile view for iPad and more. Find the full change log below.

Manipulate and reuse content with ease: When using iOS 11, easily add or move content, or copy to others apps, by dragging and dropping text, images, and other objects

Mobile View: Mobile View adapts the document to your iPad screen – no more pinching and zooming necessary!

Always be in the know: Easily find out who has edited your presentation and what changes they’ve made by checking out the slides that have a green highlight.

Make your content more accessible: Take advantage of some new accessibility settings – Use large text to make documents, worksheets, and presentations easier to work with, and use the navigation rotor to move across headings, tables, charts, objects, comments, links, and more when using VoiceOver.

Improve reading with Learning Tools: In the Mobile View, use Learning Tools to adjust text spacing, column width, and page color to help you scan documents more easily and reduce visual distractions. In all views, use Learning Tools to see each word highlighted as documents are read aloud.

Office Insiders can download this update from Apple App Store today.
