Microsoft today announced the expanded Windows Phone developer opportunities. They have added six new Windows Phone developer payout markets bringing the total markets to 122. The new markets include: Afghanistan, Iraq, Montenegro, Serbia, Timor-Leste, and Ukraine. Also they highlighted the new mobile operator billing connections. They have added 15 new mobile operator billing partners since August 2012, bringing the total number of supported partners to 25 in 19 markets, surpassing Google Play. They are planning to expand this in future.

Finally they have simplified app submissions process for developers. Apart from the recently added enabling cancelling submissions, rotating screenshots and automatic screenshot resizing, they are adding the ability to review app submission, giving you a chance to make sure everything looks right, before you actually submit.
