MetroPCS gets its first Windows Mobile Smartphone

MetroPCS, a carrier than mainly concentrate on the pre-paid market, is not very well known for their smartphones. This leak of the Samsung SCH-i220 Windows Mobile Standard Smartphone will therefore be music to the ears of their clientele.

The Code is a pretty standard CDMA Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone, with a QVGA landscape display, EVDO data access, microSDHC expansion slot, speakerphone, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder and QWERTY keyboard, so it should fit the pocket of buyers quite easily, literally and figuratively.

According to rumours it is expected to be released sometime in September.
