Many people asked me the same question from yesterday, who is going to replace Charlie Kindel as General Manager of Windows Phone Developer ecosystem. Matthew Bencke is the answer. Many websites and blogs are reporting that Windows Phone GM quits Microsoft, Its wrong. Charlie Kindel moved out of his previous role as GM for Windows Phone Dev ecosystem early this year (before June for sure) and Matthew Bencke is currently holding that position. Those who are not familiar with Matthew Bencke, he was heading the Premium Mobile Experiences group (Danger/KIN) and GM of Windows Phone and Marketplace before his current position. He was also part of Boeing for more than 8 years before leaving as Senior Director.

Hope he continues his great work on Windows Phone Developer Ecosystem.
