The ImagineCup has tweeted a promise to deliver Mango handsets by September this year, which could indicate that either new devices running the OS will be released by then, or the software update will become generally available then.
The impending release of new handsets could explain why Microsoft showed of their new handsets so nonchalantly at the recent WPC event, but of course at the moment there is no certainty. However with September less than 50 days away I am sure we will know a lot more soon.
