Lumia 640 XL pre-orders open in Germany

Last week we saw pre-orders for the Lumia 640 open at various retailers, with the handset expected to ship in around 2 weeks.

How the other handset announced at MWC 2015, the Lumia 640 XL, has also started to arrive at online retailers, with Amazon Germany showing the device available for pre-order for 219 Euro ($232). Unfortunately Microsoft’s listing does not reveal when the handset is expected to ship, but it is likely a number of weeks after the 640.

The handset features a 5.7 inch HD screen, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 13 megapixel camera and 8 GB of expandable storage, and runs a new version of Windows Phone 8.1 which brings support for Bluetooth Keyboards.
