LG enters the smart speaker category with its new ThinQ Speaker

LG today announced that it is entering the crowded smart speaker market with its new LG ThinQ Speaker. LG claims that ThinQ speaker will produce high-quality sound, thanks to Meridian Audio technology. It supports High Resolution Audio which can recreate sounds that were originally recorded in the studio. The smart capabilities of this speaker is powered by Google Assistant.

LG teamed up with Google to ensure that the LG ThinQ Speaker delivers all the conveniences which comes with having a digital assistant at your side.

And the unique capability of this LG ThinQ Speaker is that it is also a personalized voice-activated interface for LG’s smart home appliances. You can use this speaker to turn on an LG appliance with the simple spoken command, “OK Google, talk to LG, turn on the air purifier.”
