After many leaks, the LG Gram 17 is now official and it will be on showcase at CES 2019. The LG gram 17 packs a generous 17-inch display within a 15.6-inch class body. The display is also a high resolution one (WQXGA 2560 x 1600). Despite packing a large display, the LG gram 17 weighs in at just 1,340 grams. LG claims that gram 17 is the lightest 17-inch laptop on the market. It also packs a highly efficient 72W battery that will offer up to 19.5 hours of battery life.

Like other gram laptops, gram 17 also complys with stringent U.S. military MIL-STD-810G durability criteria covering seven resilience factors including shock, dust and extreme temperatures. It is powered by 8th Generation Intel Core processor, up to 16GB of DDR4 memory and 256GB SSD. DTS Headphone X technology included in this laptop will offer simulated 11.1 channel array found in movie theater. LG has also included a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello based authentication.

We will get more details on pricing and availability at CES 2019 next month.
