At CES 2018, Lenovo today announced the next gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook with new improvements and upgraded internals. This 6th gen X1 Carbon now features Dolby Vision optimized HDR WQHD IPS display for stunning visuals. Lenovo has replaced the 7th gen Intel processors with the latest 8th gen Intel processors for improved performance and battery life.

This updated X1 Carbon also comes with advanced features like Wake on Voice and RapidCharge. The new ThinkShutter mechanical camera cover and Windows Hello with fingerprint reader elevate security to redefine uncompromised. Another small but notable change is the blacked-out ID logos everywhere that just merges with the body color.
