Lenovo takes on MacBook Pro with the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme

At its press event today at IFA 2018, Lenovo announced the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme to take on the Apple MacBook Pro and other high-end laptops. The new ThinkPad X1 Extreme is powered by up to Intel Core i9 processor, up to 64GB of memory and dual PCIe SSD storage option and NVIDIA GeForce 1050Ti graphics to meet the needs of advanced users. Thanks to the 8th gen Intel processor, this laptop features Gigabit Wi-Fi. It comes with a 4K, 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut display with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos speaker setup for great multimedia experience.

This laptop comes with a battery life of up to 15 hours and Lenovo has included the RapidCharge technology that charges the battery up to 80 percent in just 60 minutes. It also comes with ThinkShutter camera cover, IR camera to support Windows Hello facial recognition, and touch fingerprint reader.

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme will be available from September with a starting price of €1,695.
