According to Comscore’s latest market share numbers, there has been a big dip in the number of Windows Mobile+Windows Phone owners in USA, with only 3.2% of subscribers using the two Microsoft mobile operating systems, down from 3.6% a month ago.
The number represents a loss of 410,000 users over a very short period, which seems somewhat unlikely, and leaves Windows Phone+Mobile with 3.88 million users in total in US.
Hopefully the dip will be reversed when November’s numbers are revealed, in the wake of the release of the popular Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X in USA in late October.
