A few days ago we wrote about Steve Teixeira, General Manager, Partner App Experience, Windows and Devices Group at Microsoft, asking Twitter users what improvements they would like to see in the Notepad and Calculator built-in Windows 10 apps.

One of the ideas raised were jump lists into popular calculator modes in the calculator, and it seems there is at least the possibility this may be implemented, with Johan Laanstra, Software engineer at Microsoft working in the Windows Experiences team on Notepad and other applications saying:

As Johan noted, there is no guarantee these requests will be implemented, but it is always nice to see the Windows team hearing users, especially when the features requested should, in theory, be very easy to correct or implement.
