Acerは独自のAppStoreを立ち上げることができます

Acerは、HTCがやらないこと、つまり独自のWindowsMo​​bileアプリストアを立ち上げることを検討しています。

昨日のロンドンのプレスイベントで、AcerのシニアコーポレートVPでスマートハンドヘルドプレジデントのAymar de Lencquesaingは、Acerが新しい範囲のWindowsMo​​bileデバイスからアクセスできるアプリストアの実行可能性を検討しているとモバイルエンターテインメントに語った。

確固たる決定はなされていませんが、AcerはAppleAppStoreの成功をエミュレートしようとしているNokiaやSamsungなどに加わります。

The main roadblock to manufacturers monetizing their end users are carrier resistance to being disintermediated.  While Acer, unlike HTC, do not have many carrier partners yet and are therefore free-er to implement features like App and Music stores, Acer’s ambition of becoming a major smartphone force will be difficult to achieve without the distribution power of the larger carriers like Vodafone, who have no intention of becoming big dumb pipes.
