Have you ever scrolled through the comments section of your favorite celebrity’s birthday post and wondered which famous personalities and verified accounts have wished them? Well, now it’s possible to filter verified accounts from regular accounts, many of which could be bots, thanks to a new filter introduced by Instagram.

If you click the drop-down arrow under “For you” and select the “Meta Verified” filter, you will only see comments from verified accounts at the top of your feed.

This change could benefit verified accounts by increasing their visibility and reducing the spread of spam and misinformation, as they are held to a higher standard.

Instagram has also introduced a feature where users can disable their “seen” status in messages.

Overall, the Meta verified filter for Instagram comments is a positive development with the potential to improve the quality and trust of online conversations.
