The terrifying and deeply iconic Deep Sleep trilogy from indie developer scriptwelder is officially heading to Steam this Halloween season.
If you’ve ever played any sort of Flash game online, there’s a high chance you’ve come across the Deep Sleep series at least once. The games are unsettling point-and-click adventures that delve into the deepest depths of your dreams.
The trilogy consists of Deep Sleep, Deeper Sleep, and The Deepest Sleep. All three games are being ported to Steam in order to preserve them when Adobe Flash loses support in 2020.

To quote the trilogy’s official Steam page:
In Deep Sleep, following an attempt at lucid dreaming, you find yourself trapped in a dream that quickly turns menacing, and must explore and solve puzzles to find your way out.
In Deeper Sleep, you realize not only that your ordeal might not be over, but that there could be more to this than a mere nightmare, and the knowledge could make you a target.
And in The Deepest Sleep, safety finally seems to be within reach, but something or someone is on your heels, and as you go deeper into your subconscious, you might not be able to trust what you see.
Unlike scriptwelder’s Don’t Escape game series, the first three of which were also ported to Steam in order to preserve them earlier this year, the Deep Sleep trilogy should be played in chronological order for maximum enjoyment.
There’s currently no set release date for the Deep Sleep trilogy, but both Armor Games and scriptwelder say it’ll be out this “Halloween season.” In the meantime, you can wishlist it on Steam here.
