Huawei Watch GT 2 will be an upgrade to the existing Huawei’s Watch lineup. The smartwatch is supposed to come with all the usual bells and whistles along with Huawei’s own OS. The smartwatch will support both Android and iOS but the OS itself works better with Android.
Today, veteran smartphone insider Evleaks, shared the renders of the watch on Twitter. The renders show the watch in different colours and with different straps. The images also show a two-button design with a heart rate sensor on the back. The watch will come in Black, Grey and Gold colour with a plastic strap and in Black and Gold colour with a metal strap. The design of the watches differs as the Black Watch with a metal strap comes with bezels while all the other colours and variants have an edge-to-edge display.
Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 30 series on 19th September and we expect the company to announce the new Watch GT 2 at the event. There’s no word on the pricing but the watch should cost around $300.
