Huawei may be unable to stick Google-powered Android on its newer phones, but the firm is still able to support its older devices with Google certified releases.

The Mate 20 Pro has now been gotten updated to Android 10 via EMUI 10 over the weekend. It may not be as powerful as the Mate 30 Pro, but it’s a brilliant phone in its own right.

EMUI 10 comes with Android 10 and its features like Digital Wellbeing improves gestures support and more.

For EMUI itself, the form is adding a new design that is more similar to Samsung’s OneUI and Apple’ iOS. The dark theme is also present, now being rolled out to all EMUI devices running Android 10 as opposed to OLED only devices.

The update is 4GB one and is available to a few users at the moment. It’ll likely roll out more widely over the next two months as more carriers approve the release.
