Today at a press event Huawei announced the successor to the P20 range, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
The devices feature updated looks and specs, and now only have an “ultra-small notch” in front housing a 32-megapixel camera and a full 3 cameras in the back (primary, wide angle and telephoto.) The P30 Pro has a 3D ToF sensor, which enhances the portrait mode capabilities. The Huawei P30 Pro uses the screen as a speaker and features super-low-light video recording.
Both devices are powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, which features two Cortex-A76 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. Both also feature optical in-display fingerprint scanners with a larger scan area.
The devices run Android Pie with the EMUI skin and are available in Black, Pearl White, Aurora, Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal.
