Digitimes reports that Toshiba will not be alone in the Windows Mobile Qualcomm Shapdragon arena. HTC has also thrown its hat into the rink, promising powerful handheld devices powered by this new processor.
Apparently HTC will release their devices a quarter after Toshiba, which is promising a Summer release, suggesting an Autumn release of the device, right in time for the Whitestone action.
In addition to the Qualcomm platform, HTC is apparently also working on Atom-powered devices, suggesting the HTC Shift will not be the last of HTC’s laptop ambitions.
