HTC have updated their Hub application for Mango, and the app is now much more useful.  Gone is the eye candy which first assaulted you when you loaded the app, replaced by the current time, weather and a list of locations.  The app is now much more reminiscent of the Samsung Now app than the HTC Hub of old.

imageThe app is now panoramic, and sliding to the right reveals a page for stocks, RSS feeds and featured apps.

Both stocks and RSS feeds can be pinned (tap and hold for stocks).  Best of all however is that Weather locations can be pinned, meaning one can jump directly to a location.

The updated HTC Hub can be found in Marketplace for HTC users.

Thanks Jaren for the tip.
