Great news for readers who are not stuck on Verizon, the most expensive carrier in USA.

HTC has confirmed to The Next Web that the HTC One will indeed not remain shackled to Verizon for the life of the handset.

Jason Mackenzie, President of HTC Americas, told TNW:

“Verizon is our exclusive launch partner, but our goal is to ultimately extend this product to even more customers later this year.”

With less than 4 1/2 months left in 2014 I cant help but think we should see a roll-out by November worldwide, in time for the holiday season.
