htc-7-pro-o2The HTC 7 Pro has now finally gone on sale in Germany.

In a press release André Loenne, Executive Director of the DACH region at HTC said:

"The launch of Windows ® phone 7 in the fall of 2010 a significant milestone in the market for mobile phones. With the HTC Pro 7, we extend our Windows ® phone portfolio with a very powerful smartphone with a keyboard. This smart phone is mainly for business users who work with different platforms and programs and who do not want to give up multi-media applications, and leaves nothing to be desired. HTC once more met the challenge to develop smartphones that meet well the individual needs of customers – whether business or home users."

The handset will be available on O2 for a € 29 – and 24 monthly instalments of € 22.50, or a once-off price of € 599. The phone will not be locked in either case, and can therefore be used on other networks in Europe.

The smartphone is expected to come to Sprint in USA very soon also, but we have not had any further information about a wider roll-out yet.
