HTC: 28.65% revenue growth - 10 new devices for 2009

As it seems, no economic failure can stop HTC’s rapid growth. The most popular Windows Mobile OEM, HTC, has just announced revenues for 2008 up to $4.61 billion. With the Net Profit as high as $1.1 billion, the Taiwanese company recorded a revenue growth of 28.65%.

Buoyed by the launch of new products, HTC posted revenues of NT$47.38 billion in the fourth quarter of 2008, rising 21.45% from the same period of 2007. Sales of HTC’s Touch Diamond-series models as well as Android-based G1 phones each met their targets, the company said.

As for the future, HTC aims for a 20% revenue growth, by lunching 10 new models utilizing Windows Mobile and Google Android. Qualcomm chips are expected on the new HTC devices as is Ericsson’s EMP platform on 3.5G handsets.

Expectations for HTC are very high! We are used getting the best hardware and  can’t compromise for anything less. Thankfully, it appears that so is HTC.
