HP announces ProBook x360 440 G1, a new convertible PC targeting businesses

At Computex in Taipei, HP today announced the ProBook x360 440 G1 targeting businesses and on-the-go professionals. The new ProBook x360 440 G1 is a Windows 10 convertible PC that will offer great performance at affordable price point.

Thanks to its 360-degree hinge, users can use it in four different modes – tent, stand, tablet, and traditional laptop. It is powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Customers can choose between 14″ diagonal FHD IPS eDP + PSR LED-backlit touch screen and 14″ diagonal FHD IPS eDP LED-backlit touch screen for their display needs. It also supports optional HP Active Pen to enable Windows Inking features.

The new ProBook x360 440 also features built-in security from HP BIOSphere Gen4, a firmware ecosystem that automates protection of the BIOS, plus get commercial-grade durability and easy serviceability. The HP Client Security Manager Gen4 features multi-factor authentication, HP Device Access Manager, HP SpareKey, and HP Password Manager. These tools work to keep data out of reach and defend against theft, attacks, and unauthorized users.

The HP ProBook x460 440 will be available in June starting at $599. You can order it here when it becomes available.
